Bias Binding - Illustrated -- Posted by Uncorked
Here's a site that I hope doesn't disappear from the net. They provide illustrated directions for making and applying bias binding on quilts. Remember, crosswise binding is usually better for square or rectangular quilts, as crosswise binding has less stretch and helps to "square up" the quilt; however, if you're making a quilt with scalloped or round edges, or one that has odd angles on the edge, you'll need the extra give from the bias binding.
