I went to a local fabric store the other day. I needed to stock up on some thread -- I haven't found a good online source for thread (which I would prefer), so I wandered into the fabric store to get some. Well, I ended up with about 9 spools of thread (I hate worrying about whether I'm going to run out) and a bunch of other quilting accessories including 2 new rulers, a bunch of marking pens, some bicycle clips to hold rolled quilts in place, a few bobbins, and probably some other things I'm forgetting. Total bill: $91! Oooopsieeee.....

Superior Thread should have an online site for ordering their thread...it is great thread. Also I think I ordered Valdani online as well-also good thread. I am starting to buy thread on cones and have a cheap thread stand for those.

Hey I can relate about the Ooopsie part!!!! Fabricville here had a huge sale on Tues and Wed past... up to 50% off on almost everything in the store!!! Well over two days I bought several metres of Christmas fabrics, lots of muslin, a nice white background fabric, glow in the dark halloween fabric to make some trick or trick bags to sell, and I bought two beautiful wrought iron drapery rods to hang two of my large quilted wallhangings!!! $160 later!!!!!!!! ooopsieee!!! (good thing my student loan went through)!!! lol.. I guess all us quilters can get a little overexcited about a sale, and forget how much we have spent when we get to the counter, and then our eyes pop out of our heads when we see the final cost!! (darn taxes)!!! they make it worse!!!
