Entry permalink Second wind -- Posted by Katxena

I think I've caught my second wind on this quilt. Since Friday, I have sewed all the blocks together (with no sashing!), cut out all the borders except the binding, and sewed the first border together. I've also sewed three sides of the first border onto the quilt. I'm exited about how it looks -- I feel like it is really coming together.

This picture better reflects the colors (at least on my monitor) than the others I have posted so far. I love this top -- I don't want to give it away!

This is a GREAT quilt! What a wonderful gift to give; I'd have trouble parting with it, too. You'll have to make a second one for yourself.

I hope the quilting and binding are a pleasure.

Woohoo! Looking great! :)

I've been traveling, so I haven't had any time to quilt lately.. alas...

I did attend the Williamsburg Quilt Festival yesterday and took a ton of pictures, though. Will write more about that soon...

Thanks! I'm really having fun with this now -- I'm almost finished with the second border already.

I can't wait to hear about the festival!

Kristie,

Way to go! It looks great. And I love the colors. They are so much brighter than the previous picture. Can't wait to see it with all the borders and everything. Must feel good to have accomplished so much.
