I was surfing quilt weblogs today, and on Frequently Wrong Never in Doubt, I found a link to this amazing crazy quilt begun in the 1880s and finished by the orginial quilter's great-granddaughter in the 1930s.

The quilt is fantastic. It was begun by EJ Phillips, an actress, in the 1880s. She sewed it from scraps left over from costumes she and other actresses wore. The quilt was finished in the 1930s by EJ's great-granddaughter. The page documents where many of the scraps came from, and is really interesting to read. The quilt is gorgeous -- what fun it must have been to make!

I'm not quite to that point yet. Right now using MTBlacklist lets me clear the crap out pretty quickly and I just haven't taken the time to go in and tweak the templates.
