Well, I ended up on an unplanned quilting hiatus this spring. But, today I got started working on a small project again. My plan for the year has been to finish one quilt per quarter. I'm behind. This one was the first quarter quilt. But it's July and I haven't finished another one yet.

Today, I worked on a Jinny Beyer kit that uses all of the fabrics in her standard palette. It's a challenge because it has one of her crazy border fabrics - I have never mitred a border and certainly never tried to mitre and match one of these patterns. It's kind of sloppy, but I think finally get the idea. I had to read the written instructions several times before I finally understood what I was supposed to do. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures of the top in progress.
